EASA Part MED workshop for Aero Medical Doctors

The EASA Part MED (Medical) workshop for Aero Medical Examiners held at ADK from 22-23 February 2017 ended today. This two day workshop was inaugurated by the Chief Executive of Maldives Civil Aviation Authority, Mr. Hussain Jaleel.

In his inauguration speech, the Chief Executive of the Maldives CAA stated health and fitness of our pilots and air traffic controllers are crucial for safe public transport and this workshop marks the beginning of a series of workshops to modernize and harmonize the medical standards within the Maldives.

The workshop was held with the kind assistance of European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The Agency has maintained a strong partnership with Maldives CAA including technical assistance in rule making and aviation training.
