The CAA holds Basic SMS course for Industry and CAA Staff

A basic Safety Management Training was held at STELCO from 17 to 20 July 2017. The target audience for this course was airlines, airports, ANSP and the regulator. This course included the most current and practical SMS training for the industry and the regulator using the latest material and case studies.

Hussian Jaleel, Chief Executive of the CAA, closed the training course and issued Certificates of Completion for the successful candidates. In his closing Mr. Jaleel highlighted the importance of aviation in the Maldives and the role safety practitioners play in maintaining our safety level high.
