Subject: Change of Aircraft Accident and Investigation Authority
This notice is issued to inform all airspace users, aircraft operators, aerodrome operators, air navigation service providers, and other relevant stakeholders of a change in the national aircraft accident investigation authority of the Republic of Maldives.
The responsibility of the previously established Accident Investigation Coordination Committee (AICC) has been transferred to the Maldives Transportation Safety Board (MTSB). The MTSB has been designated as the sole and independent authority responsible for the investigation of aircraft accidents and serious incidents in the Republic of Maldives.
