The Civil Aviation Code of Practice reassures Maldives Civil Aviation Authority’s (CAA) commitment to setting high service standards which is obligated by the Maldives Civil Aviation Authority Act (2/2012), Chapter 3, Article 5(i).

The CAA has started a four day training course on Regulatory Auditing Techniques for its staff.

I would also like to express greetings of the day to ICAO Council President and Secretary General and also ICAO Member states and industry partners.
This three-day course will provide basic training for Officials from Maldives Civil Aviation Authority and local airline industry on the implementation of CORSIA MRV and Offsetting requirements in accordance with the provisions of the ICAO Annex 16 Volume 4 - Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs).
The CAA held a 5 day aircraft maintenance programme training for its staff and industry staff.
The CAA has temporarily suspended MCAR-66 examinations held though UK CAA until end of December due to the unavailability of the approved examination location.
